EYFS Teacher - Phonics Specialist
Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years teacher with a strong focus on phonics? We are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join our supportive team and play a key role in developing early literacy skills in our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative phonics lessons tailored to the EYFS curriculum.
- Assess and monitor pupils'' progress, providing regular, constructive feedback to support individual development.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies across the early years setting.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in events, enrichment activities, and ongoing professional development.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent early years teaching qualification.
- A solid understanding of synthetic phonics approaches (e.g., Letters and Sounds, Read Write Inc., etc.).
- A child-centered approach with a commitment to fostering early literacy and language skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- A proactive attitude towards ongoing learning and contribution to school life.
