Job Description:
- Support the class teacher in delivering theandnbsp;EYFS curriculumandnbsp;throughandnbsp;play-based learningandnbsp;and structured activities
- Foster aandnbsp;positive and nurturing environmentandnbsp;that promotesandnbsp;independence,andnbsp;curiosity, andandnbsp;confidence
- Assist withandnbsp;phonics,andnbsp;early numeracy, andandnbsp;language developmentandnbsp;through engaging and interactive methods
- Provideandnbsp;pastoral careandnbsp;and emotional support to help children feel safe, happy, and ready to learn
- Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to support each childandrsquo;sandnbsp;individual learning journey
- Contribute to the wider school community throughandnbsp;EYFS events,andnbsp;celebrations, andandnbsp;enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working in anandnbsp;EYFS settingandnbsp;(nursery or reception class)
- Hold a relevantandnbsp;Level 2 or Level 3 qualificationandnbsp;in Early Years or Childcare (desirable)
- Be aandnbsp;patient,andnbsp;compassionate, andandnbsp;adaptableandnbsp;team player
- Demonstrate a strong understanding ofandnbsp;child development,andnbsp;safeguarding, andandnbsp;inclusive education
- Possess excellentandnbsp;communicationandnbsp;andandnbsp;organisationalandnbsp;skills
- Be passionate aboutandnbsp;early learning,andnbsp;creative play, andandnbsp;supporting every child to shine
