The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pupils during the crucial early stages of their educational journey, helping to develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.Your new role As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will: Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative Early Years learning activities. Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and development targets. Assist with phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities. Encourage positive behaviour, social interaction and independence. Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment. Support pupils'' emotional wellbeing and developmental needs. What you''ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience working with children in an EYFS, nursery or primary school setting. A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. A genuine passion for supporting young children''s learning and development.
