EYFS Practitioner

A friendly and supportive primary school in Pitstone is seeking a passionate and experienced EYFS Practitioner to join their Early Years team from January 2026. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and delivery of high-quality EYFS provision in line with the Early Years Framework 
- Lead small group and 1:1 activities to encourage language, social, and motor development 
- Observe and assess childrenandrsquo;s progress; contribute to learning journals and parent reports 
- Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that encourages independence and curiosity 
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to meet individual child needs 
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through supportive and caring interactions 
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a relevant EYFS qualification (Level 3 or above), or has equivalent experience in an Early Years setting 
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development 
- Demonstrates excellent communication, creativity, and organisational skills 
- Shows a caring and patient nature, with a genuine passion for early childhood education 
- Is committed to safeguarding and ongoing professional development
