Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a nurturing and enthusiastic Level 3 qualified EYFS Practitioner to join a welcoming nursery school in South Birmingham. This full-time role will begin after the Easter break and continue throughout the summer term.

The successful candidate will be working within a two-year-old provision, supporting young children at a key stage of their early development through play-based learning and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children aged two years old in line with the EYFS framework

  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

  • Deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development

  • Provide personal care, including nappy changing and toileting, while maintaining children''s dignity and well being

  • Observe and record children''s progress and development

  • Work collaboratively with nursery staff and contribute positively to the team

  • Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (essential)

  • Previous experience within an EYFS setting, ideally with two-year-olds

  • Comfortable supporting personal care routines

  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Prospero Teaching)
