Supply Desk is excited to be working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Chesham, currently seeking a passionate and experienced EYFS Lead andamp; Reception Teacher. This is a full-time role ideal for a dedicated educator who is ready to lead Early Years provision and inspire a love of learning in young children.
About the Role:
- Leading the Early Years Foundation Stage, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and care
 - Teaching a Reception class, delivering a creative, engaging curriculum in line with EYFS framework
 - Monitoring and supporting pupils'' progress through formative and summative assessment
 - Mentoring and supporting EYFS staff, helping to maintain consistency and excellence across the phase
 - Creating a warm, stimulating environment that fosters independence, curiosity, and development
 - Collaborating with SLT, staff, and parents to promote childrenandrsquo;s wellbeing and readiness for KS1
 
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
 - Have substantial experience teaching in EYFS, ideally with previous leadership or phase lead experience
 - Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and best practices in early years education
 - Be a nurturing, reflective practitioner with excellent communication and organisational skills
 - Show strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire colleagues within the EYFS team
 - Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all pupils
