The Role:
You’ll support the class teacher with daily EYFS provision. This includes small-group activities in early phonics and number, modelling play, setting up continuous provision, and supporting speech, language, and social development. You’ll help with observations, simple progress notes, and ensure a calm, safe environment where children can thrive.
 
The Candidate:
You’re a graduate with a warm, nurturing approach and clear communication. You can follow guidance, keep routines consistent, and engage young children through purposeful play. You’re keen to learn from experienced practitioners and build skills for teacher training.
 
Requirements
• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Strong interest in EYFS and early child development.
• Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (nursery, mentoring, tutoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
