EYFS and 1:1 Support Teaching Assistant Location: Wyre Area Start Date: Immediate or September Start Available Hours: 15 hours per week (days and working pattern to be agreed with the Headteacher) Salary: TA1/TA2 Grade (Competitive, dependent on experience) Job Type: Part-time, Long-term Join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Wyre area as an EYFS and 1:1 Support Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for someone dedicated to nurturing and supporting early years education, combining general EYFS support with targeted 1:1 assistance for a preschool child with additional needs. Day-to-day of the role: EYFS Support (10 Hours Per Week): Assist the class teacher and EYFS team in delivering engaging learning activities. Support children''s learning and development through both adult-led and child-initiated activities. Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and social development. Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment. Observe and support children''s progress and contribute to developmental records. Assist with preparing resources and learning environments for indoor and outdoor activities. 1:1 Child Support (Approximately 5 Hours Per Week): Provide consistent and individualised support tailored to the child''s specific needs. Support communication, engagement, and participation in learning activities. Assist with personal care and physical needs as required.
