Extrusion Setter

Job Title: Senior Extrusion Setter

Location: East Grinstead

Salary: 37K / 44K annum

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke plastic extrusions, creating high-quality plastic profiles and tubes. Offering a 4-day working week and a competitive salary, they’re looking for an experienced extrusion setter to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality extrusion profiles to meet production standards
• Ensure the machines are running efficiently and reporting any setting delays
• Train new starters, offering support and guidance where needed
• Updating production records accordingly so everything is up to date
• Adhering to health and safety standards at all times, as well as keeping a tidy workspace
• Carrying out any maintenance work on the machines
• Assist in tool trials as and when required
• Thorough quality checks and ensuring they get checked and signed by the correct person
• Printing finished goods labels and assist on the packing line if needed

Job Requirements:

• Past experience working in extrusion is essential
• Supervising experience is desirable
• Ideally drive and have access to your own transport
• Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail

Hours:

• Monday – Thursday
• 07:30am – 19:30pm (Days)

                 OR

• 19:30pm – 07:30am (Nights)
