Extrusion Operator

Impact Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Extrusion Operator to join one of our clients on a permanent basis.

Role: Extrusion Operator
Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Location: Northampton
Salary: -35,000

Duties:

• Safely operate extrusion and pelletising machinery in line with company procedures
• Load extrusion machines and remove finished products
• Set and adjust machine controls, including start-up and shutdown procedures
• Monitor production output and machine performance
• Identify, record, and report defects, non-conformances, and production failures
• Complete production reporting, including extrusion run times and material output
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning
• Complete check sheets and defect reporting documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience with setting and operating extruders
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
