Extrusion Operative Location: Antrim Rate of Pay: £14.31per hour Shift Pattern: Continental shifts (2-week rotation) Days: 6:00am - 6:00pm Nights: 6:00pm - 6:00am About the Role Our client, a leading manufacturer within the building materials sector, is seeking an Extrusion Operative to join their production team. Operating in a modern, machine-driven environment, you will play a key role in producing high-quality uPVC products used in window and door systems for both bespoke and high-volume projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machinery in line with production schedules Ensure all products meet required quality specifications and report defects where necessary Perform routine quality checks and accurately complete production documentation Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments to maintain optimal efficiency Assist with tool changes, machine start-ups, and shutdowns Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets Ensure correct handling and loading of raw materials Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures Support basic maintenance tasks and assist with troubleshooting faults About You Essential Skills and Experience Previous ..... full job details .....
