Cityworx are recruiting on behalf of a client who are looking for an Extra Care Scheme Manager-to lead teams at extra care scheme services in the Winchester Hill-area.
The Scheme Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the schemes and ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to residents.
Your main duties as the Scheme Manager will include:
- Being a positive voice for the service by communicating with service users and their families in a dignified and person-centred way
- Deliver services effectively and efficiently and have clear monitoring procedures and processes in place to ensure standards are continually met
- Provide management, leadership, and support to all staff
- Must be willing to embrace all aspects of the role including, but not limited to, providing support with dignified personal care and domestic tasks.
- Ensure good communication and links with all stakeholders regarding the provision of services including commissioners, service users, relatives, social work teams etc.
- Ensure that staff are trained for their roles and responsibilities and that all groups of staff within the team have access to appropriate training and learning opportunities.
- Put in place measures to comply with CQC regulations and work to achieve the best care standards possible
- On call duties
We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in management of a care service,-ideally having worked in an Extra Care scheme-or similar care setting. You will need to hold, or be working towards, NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be a driver.
