External Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive External Site Manager to oversee and coordinate all external construction activities on a busy construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing reinforced concrete works, pre-pour inspections, groundworks, utilities coordination, drainage, district heating installations and waterproof concrete works. The role requires strong technical knowledge, effective subcontractor management and a hands-on approach to ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, to specification and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: RC Works: Oversee reinforced concrete works, including reinforcement, formwork, pre-pour inspections and concrete quality checks. Pre-Pour Checks: Ensure all inspections, approvals, setting-out, reinforcement and embedded items are signed off prior to concrete pours. Groundworks: Manage excavation, earthworks, foundations, backfilling and associated groundworks activities. Utilities Coordination: Coordinate installation, diversions, connections and protection of underground services with subcontractors and utility providers. Drainage: Supervise foul and surface water drainage installations, including testing, inspections and compliance with approved drawings.
