We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic External Sales Engineer to cover join the team at Stockport and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established company, developing long-term customer partnerships while driving sales growth across a wide range of industrial automation products.

As an External Sales Engineer, you will:

• Develop new business opportunities by providing expert technical advice and tailored customer solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Identify customer requirements and help prepare accurate, competitive quotations.
• Manage your own workload effectively while achieving sales targets and company objectives.
• Stay up to date with the latest products and technologies within the industrial automation sector.
• Deliver excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process.

We''re looking for someone who has:

• Experience in a sales role within the Industrial Automation and Control industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of automation and control products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
• A results-driven, customer-focused approach.
• Good IT skills.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Competitive salary circa -50-55k
