Audit and Accounts Semi Senior - Leeds - Up to £40,000 DOE A well-established and independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Leeds, providing a wide range of accountancy, audit, tax and advisory services to SMEs, owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and private clients. The firm has a friendly and supportive culture, with a strong focus on client service, professional development and progression. We''re looking for someone who: Has at least 2 years'' experience working within an accountancy practice Is ideally part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA or AAT Has solid experience in accounts preparation Is confident dealing directly with clients and building strong relationships Can work independently whilst also contributing effectively within a wider team Has experience with software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage Responsibilities will include: Leading statutory audit assignments Preparing year-end accounts under FRS 105 and FRS 102, including group consolidations Supervising and supporting junior members of the team Preparing corporation tax computations Assisting clients with bookkeeping, VAT and general accounting queries Getting involved in advisory work such as tax planning, due diligence and business valuations This is a great opportunity for an experienced practice accountant looking to join an established Leeds firm where there is genuine scope for career progression, strong support from senior management and the opportunity to work with a varied ..... full job details .....
