Express and Courier Manager
Express and Courier Manager required to join this professional agent locally based to LHR Time critical operations and customer service responsibilities Monday-Friday 9am - 5.30pm (this can be flexible) Out of hours for escalation Salary - £48K- £50k dependence on experience Must have customs knowledge of imports and exports Some AOG/ time critical knowledge would be beneficial. Managing two Fast paced teams of up to around 20 people. Managerial responsibility for customer service delivery to Express and Courier department Client base Management of Express / Courier Customer Service Teams, including staff development and resource planning Follow up and resolve any negative feedback re operational issues / customer service concerns raised by the customer Responsibility for Gross Profit analysis, and Sales Invoicing / Job costing accuracy To promote business development, ensuring all opportunities from existing business is followed up through telephone sales, prospect sales site visits and quotations. Contribute to ongoing operational development and cost saving measures Identify areas of operational improvement by reviewing processes regularly. Keep up to date with Express / Time Critical and Courier market trends, and industry news. Establish, Manage and Maintain Internal and External Relationships.
