This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a strong background in freight operations, particularly in handling Dangerous Goods and Restricted Goods, to take on a varied, hands-on role with room to grow and develop.Key Responsibilities:Responding to customer enquiries and managing inbound callsPreparing and sending accurate job quotationsProcessing both Export and Import shipmentsLiaising with carriers, subcontractors, and internal departmentsHandling job costing and raising invoicesSupporting occasional warehouse tasks when neededRunning your own desk efficiently while keeping records accurate and up to dateWhat We''re Looking For:Solid experience in Export, Import, and Customs operationsPrevious exposure to Dangerous Goods and/or Restricted Goods is essentialOrganised, detail-oriented, and confident working independentlyA team player with excellent communication skillsComfortable using IT systems and logistics platformsWorking Hours:Monday to Friday09:00 - 18:00 (with a 1-hour lunch break)Salary and Benefits: 30,000 - 35,000 per annum (based on age and experience)20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays3-month probation periodCompany laptop providedPost-Probation Perks (Once Fully ..... full job details .....
