Export Supervisor

Opportunity for an experienced Export Supervisor to join a specialist Freight Forwarder based at their Heathrow Office.Responsible for overseeing a small team role will include the following aspects -Mon - Fri Salary £45,000• Plan and manage air freight shipments from start to finish, including customs clearance in both the UK and at the destination, in line with customer requirements.• Issue MAWB, HAWB, manifest, and any other required shipping documents.• Prepare and submit customs documentation, including export declarations, export licenses, CITES, and ATA Carnets, and apply for Carnets and CITES permits as required.• Communicate with clients and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise. • Support other members of the export team as needed to ensure smooth operations.• Update shipping files and internal systems, while consistently keeping customers informed of their shipment status.• Liaise with airlines in a professional manner in order to meet operational requirements and maintain up-to-date schedule information and shipment status reports.• Ensure all quality controls procedures are updated and adhered to.• Prepare and complete quotations and invoicing accurately and on time.Essential Skills and Requirements:Supervisory experience within a Freight Forwarding roleKnowledge of shipping High value goods would be an advantageThorough knowledge of customs regulations and export proceduresExcellent organizational and ..... full job details .....
