Export Operations Coordinator - Deep Sea Groupage - Thurrock About the Company Our client is a UK-based NVOCC (non-vessel operating common carrier), handling groupage and consolidated LCL sea freight, both import and export. They work with customers and overseas agents across a wide range of destinations. The position is office based, and you will deal directly with customers and agents rather than working through layers of management. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Export Operator to join a busy export team. The work covers groupage and consol exports, with a large proportion of volume going to the USA, though shipments go to all destinations. The successful candidate will run live export bookings day to day, from taking the enquiry and getting the rate through to arranging haulage, planning the load and completing paperwork and filings correctly and on time. The ideal candidate will have solid deep sea export operations experience, with strong knowledge of groupage and consol work, AMS and ISF filing, and UK export customs procedures. This is not a trainee role. You will be managing several shipments at different stages at any one time, so organisation and accuracy are essential.
