Export Operations Assistant

We are working with an established Courier company that are looking to Operations Assistants.Working hours are Tues - Friday 6am to 3pm Saturday 7am - 4pm - Flexibility in shift/schedules when required. Overtime available at weekendsDuties and ResponsibilitiesRespond to internal and external emails timely and in a professional manner using Outlook and ZoomCommunicate with internal and global departments regarding queries, additional shipping document information needed and shipment related issues.Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.Booking flights with airlines/agentsAdministration dutiesKnowledge of Raising Export Customs Entries on CDS beneficialCustoms software we use is DescartesLiaising and progress chasing with HMRC for amendments and statusesManifesting and pre-alerting flightsRaising MAWBsRaising T1 documents for road shipmentsWarehouse duties, shipment accountability, bagging and labellingNo heavy lifting, all shipments weigh less than 32KgsImport SFD and FDE clearances knowledge would be beneficialT1/T2 clearances/dischargesTemporary Admission clearancesImportation and Exportation of ATA Carnet / Cites goodsSupporting and coordinating Transport needs where requiredTaking responsibility for the company''s freight and assets by reporting any suspicious activity at workStoring and replenishing stock according to established proceduresReporting any damaged or missing goods to Operations ManagerKeeping the warehouse ..... full job details .....
