Logistics Coordinator - FIXED TERM CONTRACTJob Type: Full-time (maternity cover)Location: Head OfficeSalary: CompetitiveWe are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join a successful growing business, our client is a market leader in manufacture, supply, and installation. This role involves managing import and export freight shipments, producing necessary documentation, liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders, and ensuring that business needs and Just-In-Time (JIT) logistics are met. The role will be mainly dealing with customers in Germany and USA with some dealings in other European countries. Day-to-day of the role:Coordinate the dispatch of products with the Warehouse team.Work with Transport Carriers to achieve delivery dates.Raise transport Purchase Orders and arrange transport as required, communicating with carriers and customs clearance.Operate in compliance with import authorities and trade regulations.Track dispatches and liaise with customers regarding delivery queries.Required Skills and Qualifications:Expert knowledge of logistics regulations such as import/export and customs, including certification in dangerous goods handling and aviation security.Strong IT skills, including ERP systems and customer data systems.At least 2 years of experience in Shipping and/or Freight forwarding.A firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, freight, and customs principles.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication, attention to detail, and time ..... full job details .....
