An opportunity has arisen within the UK Export Contract Management Team for an ambitious project manager to provide project and contract administrative support to the delivery of a challenging portfolio of export contracts!

Salary: Circa £30,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

This is an ideal opportunity to develop programming skills whilst working with MBDA directorates and functions as well as international customers with a wide range of cultural experiences and contract demands. You will be driven by an interesting and diverse work content with an openness to experiencing and embracing different international cultures. This opportunity has a career progression within the Export Contract Management Department.
  • Opportunities to engage with a wide range of international Customers and their cultures: North and South America, Asia, the Middle and Far East, Asia Pacific as well as Europe;
  • You will be able to provide a significant business contribution to the expanding portfolio of export contracts;
  • Support the MBDA Export Contract Manager with the organisation and preparation of Customer facing meetings; post contract kick-off, progress and acceptance meetings;
  • Engage with Customers for routine administrative aspects, specifically document definition and coordination for delivery and payment as well as letter of credit, bank guarantees and transportation;
  • Preparation and coordination with involved functions within MBDA for customer deliveries in close liaison with Shipping department;
  • Provide support during Customer facing Factory Acceptance Tests at MBDA sites for a wide range of MBDA products as well as assisting loading procedures at departure ports and during Customers'' acceptance in the concerned country;
  • Gather all information pertaining to export licence condition fulfilment, and ensure completeness of the export license tools in conjunction with Export Control function;
