Export Clerk

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Export Clerk for a well-established Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the Egham, Surrey area.Responsibilities:-Working with the China export team closelyEnsure that all relevant emails, documents and information are uploaded / added into Boxtop. This includes copies of all export documentation and relevant emails in case of future auditsArrange collection of any U.K. shipments for export to China and Nigeria, directly through a designated haulier/courier company and ensuring all correct documentation is in placeKeep warehouse aware of any direct deliveries from UK suppliers/courier or any other 3rd partyHandling transhipments for NigeriaIssue export entries correctly using cds / sequoiaEnsure all shipments are exported / completed correctly and in a timely manner once the shipment has arrived into, the designated handling warehouse Assist, mentor and train other staff members in exports and proceduresEnsure invoicing requirements are met, issued correctly and in a timely manner. Ensure to work compliantly with AEO and compliance proceduresEnsure that all relevant emails, documents and information are uploaded / added into Boxtop.
