Hours: Monday-Friday, 13:00-22:00
Rate : -27,539.2030k depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Export Planning & Dispatch Clerk to support the smooth and cost-effective running of our expanding client specialising in European export operations; on a permanent basis.
You will play a key role in ensuring shipments are planned, processed, and dispatched efficiently while delivering a high standard of customer service and maintaining compliance with customs and network requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process delivery notes, collection orders (part/full loads), and EDI data
- Plan and route consignments to maximise trailer utilisation
- Prepare and dispatch export trailers and trunk vehicles
- Manage customs documentation, including Brexit-related administration
- Carry out dangerous goods compatibility checks
- Monitor customer compliance with export documentation
- Liaise with internal teams and UK/European branches to ensure smooth operations
About You
- At least 2 years'' experience in European road freight
- Strong knowledge of European geography
- Good commercial awareness and IT skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Customs knowledge (desirable)
