Experimental Physicist (PhD or MPhys or Msc)

We are seeking a highly motivated Experimental Physicist to join a-design-and development team. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD or MPhys in Physics coupled-with excellent A level results-and have strong practical experience in experimental techniques gained either from academia or industry.

Experience in magnetics, superconductivity, or related fields would be highly advantageous, though candidates with a strong experimental background in other areas of physics are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and conduct physics experiments.

• Analyse experimental data and interpret results.

• Develop and improve experimental apparatus and measurement techniques.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance research objectives.

Essential Requirements

• PhD or MPhys 1st Class/2.1 in Physics or a closely related discipline.

• Strong experimental skills and familiarity with laboratory equipment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with magnetic systems, superconducting materials, or vacum systems.

• Knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, or precision measurement.
