Daytime Healthcare are assisting an established Supported Accommodation Provider. They have home for young people in Brent and Harrow, and the service users have faced issues including problems with the fostering system.
You must have at least 2 years+ experience with young people in a Supported Accommodation, Supported Living or Children`s Residential Homes. Also you need to have an NVQ Level 3 qualification to be considered.
There is no visa sponsorship offered, so you will need to have right to work to apply.
There are great progression and development opportunities with this organization.
The rota is across 7 days per week, with some sleep in`s required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people to develop life skills and independence. This includes practical skills, health, education, social and emotional support.
- Taking on any administrative tasks linked to the care of children and young people e.g. keeping appropriate records up to date, writing reports, recording incidents reports, reporting young people missing and keeping the Manager up to date at all times with any significant events.
- Working with young people to implement support plans put in place.
- Support young people with their finances where necessary, and in line with appropriate our guidelines.
