Due to an increase in their workload, they are now looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join their tool room, manufacturing, assembling and maintaining complex tooling used in the production of aerospace and industrial gas turbine components. This role would suit a skilled, practical toolmaker who can interpret detailed engineering drawings, work to tight tolerances and solve problems during tool assembly and commissioning. Key responsibilities Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models and technical specifications Produce and modify precision tooling components Carry out bench fitting, polishing, grinding, drilling and other tool making operations Check components and assemblies against drawings and tolerances Support tooling trials, commissioning and production prove-out Diagnose tooling failures and complete repairs and modifications Maintain existing tooling to ensure reliable production performance R...
