Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert classroom support across KS3 and KS4 in both mainstream and SEN settings
• Deliver tailored one-to-one and small group interventions for students with SEN, SEMH, and behavioural needs
• Implement proven de-escalation and positive behaviour management strategies
• Work closely with teaching staff and the SEN team to differentiate learning and ensure inclusion
• Support pupils'' social, emotional, and academic development, promoting resilience and progress
• Act as a role model, building positive relationships to inspire student engagement

Requirements

• Previous experience as an experienced Teaching Assistant, ideally within a secondary school setting
• Strong background in supporting students with SEN/SEMH and challenging behaviour
• Knowledge of effective behaviour management and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential
• Commitment to a long-term role within a supportive school environment
