Rainham Steel a leading UK steel stockholder has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Shearline Operator to join the team! Location: Rainham Steel Co Ltd, Essex, RM13 9PF Salary: up to £43k per year (£19.52p/h) depending on experience Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Basic working hours 6am -3.30pm Mon-Fri, 42.5 hour Per week About Us: As a result of ongoing growth and expansion, Rainham Steel a leading UK steel stockholder requires a Shearline operator to work at our Rainham, Essex depot. Experienced Shearline Operator - The Job Role: - Reporting to the warehouse manager - Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment - Cutting steel rebar from stock on an automatic cutting machine to suit schedule requirements - Asses the work and optimise cutting from stock lengths with minimal scrap - Assemble bundles for packing - Physically able to cope with reasonable manual handling - Flexible to do paid overtime when necessary Experienced Shearline Operator - The Candidate: - Outstanding attention to detail - Excellent communication both verbal and written - Organised and motivated - Ability to communicate with a wide range of people - Able to work in a fast-paced pressurised environment - You must have a good command of the English language - Must be a good time keeper Experienced Shearline Operator - What we offer in return: - A ..... full job details .....
