As an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting children in their learning and development, helping to improve their confidence and enabling them to reach their potential. Your responsiblities may include:

• Providing 1:1 or small-group support to pupils.
• Supporting children and young adults with a range of additional needs.
• Working alongside teachers and support staff to create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
• Helping students develop their social, emotional and academics skills.
• Supporting students with behaviour management and emotional regulation.
• Assisting with personal care where required.
• Building positive and trusting relationships.

An Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who has:

• TA status and experience in SEN settings.
• Based in the Chester area or have access to transport links.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• A patient and understanding approach.
• Personal care experience is desirable.
