Experienced Teaching Assistant - Inclusion Hub
Location: London
Pay Rate: -90120 per day, depending on experience

Aspire People is currently recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant to join the newly established Inclusion Hub at a welcoming two-form entry Church of England primary school.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate education professional who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and helping every child reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development of the school''s new Inclusion Hub, providing tailored support to pupils who may require additional guidance with their learning, behaviour, emotional regulation and social development.

The Role
As an experienced TA, you will work closely with the school''s teaching staff and inclusion team to provide targeted support for pupils who benefit from a more personalised approach to learning.

Key responsibilities will include:
*Providing tailored one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with additional learning and behavioural needs.
*Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, social skills and positive behaviour management.
*Helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment within the Inclusion Hub.
*Implementing individual support strategies to help pupils engage with learning and develop independence.
*Working collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO and other professionals to support pupil progress.
*Encouraging positive relationships, confidence and improved engagement with school life.
*Supporting pupils to successfully access classroom learning and reintegrate into mainstream lessons where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can demonstrate:
*Previous experience as a DTA or Teaching Assistant, ideally supporting pupils with additional needs, SEND or behavioural challenges.
*A strong understanding of behaviour management and inclusive education.
*The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may require additional support.
*Patience, resilience, empathy and a proactive approach to overcoming barriers to learning.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*A genuine passion for helping children succeed academically, socially and emotionally.
*A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
*Experience working within an inclusion provision, nurture group, alternative provision or specialist SEND setting would be highly advantageous.
