This role requires a high standard of finish, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of working with various coatings on metal substrates.You''ll be responsible for ensuring all surfaces are prepared correctly, applying paint using spray equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. Key Responsibilities:Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, fill, and mask metal or vehicle surfaces prior to spraying.Paint Application: Mix and apply primers, base coats, and topcoats using HVLP or conventional spray equipment.Finish Quality: Ensure final paintwork meets required specifications and customer standards.Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to spray guns and other related tools.Health and Safety Compliance: Follow all relevant COSHH regulations and PPE requirements when handling hazardous materials.Stock Control: Assist in monitoring and managing paint and material inventory.Workplace Cleanliness: Maintain a tidy, hazard-free spray booth and workshop area.
