Maintenance Fitter - Recycling Plant

We are currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at a busy recycling centre. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and supporting the smooth operation of plant machinery and site equipment.

• Carrying out mechanical maintenance and repairs on plant machinery

• Welding and fabrication work when required

• Basic electrical fault finding and repairs

• Plumbing and general site maintenance

• Responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance

• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety procedures

• Previous experience in plant maintenance or a similar industrial environment

• Ability to weld and carry out basic fabrication

• Knowledge of electrics and plumbing

• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently

• Flexible with working hours

• Monday to Friday

• 07:00 - 16:00 (times may vary, flexibility required)

• Weekend work available when required (must be available if needed)

• -14.00 - -17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
