The Role Machine Operative As a Machine Operative, you ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing runs. You ll play a key part in driving performance, maintaining product standards, and supporting continuous improvement within the production team. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate production machinery according to product requirements Monitor production quality, including thickness, width, and output consistency Identify and resolve mechanical or process issues quickly and effectively Ensure changeovers and shift handovers run smoothly Minimise stoppages and downtime through proactive problem-solving Complete production and quality documentation accurately Work closely with engineers and shift managers to resolve technical issues Maintain high housekeeping and Health and Safety standards at ..... full job details .....
