Experienced Lift and Electrial Manager

The Lift and Electrical Manager role is a senior, compliance-driven position. The postholder oversees the safety, maintenance, and modernization of passenger lifts, escalators, and electrical systems across property portfolios. Core duties span contractor management, budget oversight, and regulatory compliance. Core ResponsibilitiesCompliance and Safety: Ensure all assets comply with LOLER, BS EN 81, and statutory electrical regulations. Act as the named "responsible person" for mechanical and electrical safety.Contract Management: Manage and monitor external lift and electrical contractors. Ensure KPIs are met, conduct regular site audits, and review insurance and engineering inspection reports.Budget and Project Oversight: Forecast and control budgets for day-to-day repairs, routine servicing, and major capital modernization projects.Breakdown and Incident Response: Coordinate response teams for lift entrapments and electrical emergencies.Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with residents, building occupants, and internal leadership regarding service standards and planned works.
