Experienced HGV 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver – Various Shift Start Times (Morning & Night)

We are seeking reliable and experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our client’s team based in the Dartford area.

Class 1 Driver Requirements

• At least 18 months’ experience operating Category C+E (Class 1) vehicles.
• Demonstrated ability to complete trunking runs safely and efficiently.
• Valid UK driving licence, CPC qualification, and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than six penalty points on your driving licence (excluding DR or IN endorsements).

Role Details

• Pay Rate: £19.50 per hour
• Shift Patterns: Morning and night shifts available
• Contract Type: Ongoing

Key Responsibilities

• Operate curtain-sided vehicles, managing curtain operation only – no unloading duties required.
• Carry out thorough vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
• Demonstrate flexibility and dedication to complete runs safely and punctually.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner as a representative of the company’s brand.
