Experienced gardeners required for a handful of roles for Manpower across Oxford. You must have recent professional experience as a gardener, ideally in a college or school - but not essential.Details:Oxford City CentreIt''s a full-time role, Mon-Fri 08:00hrs - 17:00hrs with an hour (unpaid) for lunch. 13.16 per hourEnhanced DBS clearance ( we will perform the check)Sickness cover positionDuties include:Preparing and maintaining cricket wickets, grass tennis courts, rugby pitches, soccer pitches and the all-weather pitchRegular mowing of the Sports grounds, marking out, spring and autumn renovation and erecting posts, nets, cricket frames and tennis postsWorking with various different types of machinery and equipment to prepare and maintain football, rugby, cricket and hockey pitches, as well as artificial surfacesAssisting with the maintenance of trees, hedges and paths, including leaf collection and sprayingMaintaining grounds and sports related buildings and facilitiesProviding grounds staff support to matches/fixtures when requiredCandidate background: Candidates should be able to provide evidence of demonstrable experience in a similar role, even if in a different sector from education (e.g. landscape work, golf course, cricket grounds, football ground etc.).
