Experienced Fabricator/Welder

Job Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our clients dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bespoke fabrications, with the ability to work with different materials, including mild steel, stainless steel & sheet metal. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricating parts according to engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy in measurements and assembly.
• Utilising hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
• Working on bespoke fabrication projects, starting from scratch and working till completion.
• Conducting MIG/TIG welding processes when required to as well.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that may arise during fabrication.

Skills

• Experience with fabrication processes, including working with sheet metal.
• Proven time-served fabrication experience is a must.
• Strong engineering knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in TIG/MIG welding, stick welding, and other welding techniques.
• Competent in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication.
