Experienced and Trainee Composite GRP / Fibreglass Laminators

Excellent opportunity within a family-owned business, for both an experienced and trainee Composite GRP/Fibreglass Laminators with earnings of £14 per hour for an experienced Laminator, depending on experience, and an initial starting salary of £12.50 per hour for trainee Operatives, based in Kidderminster. Quantum Mouldings Ltd is a key player in the supply of finished GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) parts, supplying many markets including automotive, industrial, leisure and advertising industries. Quantum is a family owned business which employs around 40 people on their Kidderminster site. (url removed) Due to growth, we are recruiting an for both experienced and trainee reliable GRP (fibreglass) laminators for our GRP manufacturing site. The experienced candidate is expected to have experience in making fibreglass parts either by Hand-lay and/or Spray-lay techniques. A safe working attitude is essential, and the successful candidates will be expected to produce high quality parts, using efficient working practices. Experience in producing parts with quality A class gelcoat finishes is an advantage. For trainees, we have a successful and proven training programme where you will learn the skills necessary to make and finish high quality GRP/fibreglass parts. No experience is necessary. The successful candidates must show a good work ethic, reliability and willingness and aptitude to learn.
