Gotpeople are currently seeking an experienced 7.5-tonne Delivery Driver for ad hoc day deliveries based in Hatfield.The RoleAs a 7.5-tonne Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times. The role includes deliveries within and around London and involves manual handling. Occasionally, you may be required to work as part of a two-person team.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver goods safely and efficiently to customersAssist with unloading goodsCarry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptlyEnsure all deliveries adhere to company proceduresMaintain a high standard of customer service when interacting with clientsComply with all driver hours and road safety regulationsMaintain clear communication throughout the dayDriver RequirementsValid 7.5-tonne (Category C1) licencePossession of a full CPC and digital tachograph cardNo more than 6 penalty points on your licence (excluding DR, DD or IN endorsements)Comfortable with manual handling and lifting bulky itemsExcellent communication and customer service skillsReliable, safety-conscious, and punctual with delivery schedulesMust provide appropriate PPE (high-visibility clothing and safety boots)Pay and Benefits£15.00 per hour PAYE £18.00 per hour PAYE via UmbrellaMinimum of 8 hours guaranteed pay per shiftMonday to Friday day shiftsFree on-site ..... full job details .....
