Gotpeople is currently seeking a skilled and dependable 7.5-tonne Delivery Driver for ad hoc day deliveries based in Hatfield.About the RoleAs a 7.5-tonne Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, punctual delivery of goods, providing outstanding customer service at all times. This role involves deliveries within and around London and requires manual handling. Occasionally, you may work as part of a two-person team.Key Responsibilities Safely and efficiently deliver goods to customersAssist with unloading goods as requiredConduct daily vehicle checks and promptly report any defectsEnsure all deliveries comply with company policies and proceduresMaintain a consistently high standard of customer service when engaging with clientsAdhere to all driver hours and road safety regulationsMaintain clear and effective communication throughout the working day Driver Requirements Valid 7.5-tonne (Category C1) licencePossession of a full CPC and digital tachograph cardNo more than 6 penalty points on your licence (excluding DR, DD, or IN endorsements)Comfortable with manual handling and lifting bulky itemsExcellent communication and customer service skillsReliable, safety-conscious, and punctual with delivery schedulesProvision of appropriate PPE (high-visibility clothing and safety boots) is required Pay and Benefits £15.00 per hour PAYE £18.00 per hour PAYE via UmbrellaMinimum of 8 hours guaranteed pay per shiftMonday to Friday day shiftsFree on-site parking ..... full job details .....
