About the Company
Our client is an established business operating within the international freight forwarding and logistics sector, specialising in the coordination of complex freight movements for exhibitions, events and product launches.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Exhibition Logistics & Sales Coordinator to join their team in a varied, customer-focused role combining freight operations, business development and sales.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years'' experience in exhibition logistics or multi-modal freight forwarding, alongside a strong commercial mindset and excellent communication and organisational skills.
Please note that, due to the international nature of the role and the requirement to represent the business at exhibitions and events, some travel will be required. This may involve periods away from the office of up to two weeks at a time.

- Previous experience within international freight forwarding and logistics
- Proven sales experience, with the ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts
- Experience coordinating exhibition, event or product launch logistics
- Strong understanding of international and European freight operations
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to work to strict deadlines and agreed timescales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Experience using CRM systems to manage leads, opportunities and client activity
- A confident, outgoing and professional approach to client relationship management
- Strong commercial awareness, with an understanding of quotations, invoicing, budgets and cost control
- Flexibility to travel internationally and spend periods of up to two weeks away from the office when required
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities to generate sales and achieve agreed targets
- Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of the international freight forwarding operation
- Assist with freight tenders, quotations, client enquiries and the preparation of logistics proposals
- Manage sales enquiries and ensure opportunities are followed up promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate, real-time information within the CRM system, including leads, opportunities, client interactions and follow-up actions
- Draft and issue sales correspondence, proposals and quotations, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients
- Conduct follow-up calls and maintain regular contact with prospective and existing customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with international agents and approved suppliers to support global logistics requirements
- Coordinate international and European freight forwarding activities relating to exhibitions, events and private product launches
- Manage the operational planning and coordination of exhibition freight, ensuring shipments and associated logistics are delivered to agreed schedules
- Represent the business on-site at exhibitions and events internationally, overseeing logistics requirements and providing support to clients
- Liaise with clients, overseas agents, suppliers and internal teams to ensure the smooth delivery of exhibition and event projects
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales, planning and operational delivery process
- Manage account administration, including quotations, invoicing and associated financial housekeeping
- Support budget management, cost control and the commercial performance of assigned projects
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager and Operations team to coordinate sales activity and ensure effective operational delivery
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to minimise disruption
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all relevant documentation is completed in line with operational and business requirements
