We''re recruiting an experienced Woodworker / Carpenter to join an established business designing, building and installing exhibition stands for clients across the UK and occasionally Europe. It''s a genuinely varied role. Roughly half your time will be spent in the workshop building and preparing stands, with the other half out on site installing them and, once the exhibition is over, taking them back down again. What you''ll be doing: Building and assembling exhibition stands in the workshop Working from drawings and specifications Preparing stands and components ready for installation Travelling to exhibition venues around the UK Installing and dismantling stands on site Occasionally travelling to European exhibitions Working as part of an experienced build and installation team Because of the nature of exhibitions, there will be overtime and some overnight stays.
