Strategic Program Director - AWS GenAI Transformation Location: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite in London or Edinburgh) Type: Perm/FTE/SubconRate: Highly competitive / Market standard The Opportunity We are partnering with a Tier-1 global Financial Services organization to find a senior Executive Leadership and Client Engagement Director. You will spearhead a massive enterprise-wide Generative AI transformation, serving as the strategic onsite leader for a critical AWS Launchpad engagement. This is not a hands-on coding role. This is a high-impact, C-suite facing leadership position where you will bridge the gap between business strategy and cutting-edge cloud engineering. You will lead the "industrialization" of Generative AI, taking pilot programs and scaling them into secure, production-grade enterprise platforms. What You Will Do Executive Advisory: Build trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders, driving steering committee discussions and aligning AI investments with enterprise goals. GenAI Industrialization: Lead the enterprise rollout of Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore, defining operating models, deployment frameworks, and best practices. Program Governance: Own the financial health, risk mitigation, and delivery success of the transformation program. Global Team Leadership: Oversee cross-functional teams of Cloud Architects, AI Engineers, and DevOps professionals.
