Lead and deliver Saxon Weald\''s finance strategy , ensuring alignment with organisational goals and long-term financial sustainability.Provide strategic leadership across Finance and Governance , including Treasury, Financial Planning, Risk and Governance, ensuring high performance and regulatory compliance.Collaborate across the business as well as with the Executive Team and the Board , delivering high-quality reports and insight that support decision-making and helps drive continuous improvement.Champion value for money and risk management , embedding these principles into departmental plans and performance monitoring, within a strong controls environment.The Successful Applicant

Qualified accountant with senior leadership experience , ideally within social housing or other regulated industries.Proven track record of working at Director level or similar , with experience of contributing to the Executive Teams and engaging effectively with Boards.Strong understanding of financial strategy and risk management , with the ability to provide assurance on compliance and control environments. If you have previously led or worked closely with a governance function, that would be beneficial.Excellent interpersonal and strategic skills , with the ability to influence stakeholders, lead change and foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture.You can make a real difference in people\''s lives by leading a finance and governance function that supports Saxon Weald\''s mission to provide safe, secure, and affordable homes-enabling positive life chances, strengthening communities and delivering long-term social value.What\’s on Offer
