OverviewWarrington Borough Council is embarking on a critical period of transformation and improvement. Following a Best Value Inspection, the Council has been directed to deliver an Improvement and Recovery Plan, supported by government appointed Ministerial Envoys. As Executive Director - Finance and Section 151 Officer, you have an opportunity to shape the future of our financial delivery. Critically, you will ensure that we have robust financial, risk management, and audit arrangements in place, while also ensuring value for money in every pound we spend. This is a rare opportunity for an outstanding finance leader to play a significant role in the lasting transformation of the Council.
