Welcome to IFG, we are one of the fastest growing, education catering companies in the country and were recently awarded Education Caterer of the year at the Foodservice Catey Awards.We''re not going to bore you with a long list of empty adjectives, we want one simple thing: awesome people to help us feed more children better food.The role…Job Title: Executive Chef/ ManagerSite: Thames Christian School, London, SW11Working Days: Monday to FridayShifts and Working hours: Approx 7am-4pm 45 hours per weekWorking Weeks: 42 weeks per year (term tiime plus 3 weeks)Pay Details: £50,000 per yearBenefits: Free meals onshift, uniform, pension and other great company benefitsDuties Include:Managing the kitchen, food production and service points at this prestigious Independent day schoolThe site caters for around 100 at lunch (staff and students)This is a small site - you will be managinga team of 2 catering assistantsAs the face of the food you will be responsible for making sure the food operation runs like clockworkYour remit includes people management and kitchen based and includes; Stock ordering, hospitlaity menus, staff rotas and food presentation, rotas. basic HR and client based.As the senior manager onsite you work with your team to provide a seamless dining experience for allAs Exececutive chef you will be being financially accountable for the unit attaining its GP/COGsMaintaining a high level of food safety and hygiene compliance at all timesYour Background...As an experienced executive chef you will have strong technical cooking skills with a background in Independent school cateringThe ability to maintain high standards is a mustThis role requies sound organisational skills and strong administrative skillsWhat''s in it for me?So maybe you fancy working somewhere close to home?
