We are recruiting for an experienced and ambitious Executive Head Chef to lead the kitchen operation of a busy, multi-outlet resort near Colchester.

This is a senior leadership role for a calm, hands-on and commercially minded chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing multiple kitchens and a sizeable brigade.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for maintaining exceptional food standards across the resort, developing seasonal menus and creating a strong, professional kitchen culture.andnbsp;This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Exec Head Chef to take ownership of a highly respected food operation that includes restaurants, private dining, weddings, events and seasonal menus showcasing the very best local produce.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, motivating and developing the kitchen brigade
• Overseeing multiple outlets and ensuring consistent food standards
• Developing seasonal menus using fresh, locally sourced produce
• Managing food costs, GP, purchasing, stock and wastage
• Planning rotas and staffing levels
• Working closely with Front of House to deliver an excellent guest experience
• Ensuring full compliance with food safety, HACCP and Handamp;S requirements
• Supporting recruitment, training and development of the team

The ideal candidate will have proven experience at Head Chef, Executive Chef or similar level within a busy resort, hotel or multi-outlet operation. You will be a confident leader with strong commercial awareness, excellent organisational skills and a genuine passion for quality food.

Salary: up to andpound;75,000
