Executive Assistant
Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a highly respected local authority organisation, to recruit an Executive Assistant for a 3 month initial duration, with the possibility of extending further. The successful candidate will provide a proactive, professional, and confidential PA support to the departmental Commissioner and Director, ensuring effective diary and inbox management, efficient coordination of business activities, and high-quality administrative support to enable the delivery of key priorities and objectives. Key Responsibilities for the Executive Assistant: Provide comprehensive administrative and personal assistant support to the Commissioner and Director Manage complex and dynamic diaries, prioritising appointments, resolving scheduling conflicts, and ensuring effective use of their time. Monitor and manage inboxes, triaging correspondence, drafting routine responses, highlighting urgent matters, and ensuring actions are progressed within agreed timescales. Act as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling enquiries professionally and escalating issues where appropriate. Arrange and coordinate meetings, workshops, and events, including scheduling, venue arrangements, preparation of papers, and circulation of agendas.
