Excavator operator (14t or 20t)

Duration: 6–8 Months

Working Hours: TBC (Standard Site Hours Expected)

Rotation: Monday to Friday

Overview:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Excavator Operator to support an ongoing project in St Andrews. This temporary role involves operating either a 14-tonne or 20-tonne machine, with works expected to last between 6 to 8 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe and efficient operation of 14t or 20t excavators on a busy site
• Conducting daily checks and routine maintenance of machinery
• Working closely with the site team to support ongoing groundwork and civil engineering activities
• Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism at all times

Requirements:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Excavator ticket (with Lifting Ops endorsement)
• Up-to-date Safety Critical Medical certificate
• Valid Driving Licence and transport to get to site
• Proven experience operating heavy plant on civil or construction sites
• Excellent awareness of site safety and lifting regulations
• Ability to work independently and follow site instructions
